About

Designer. Partner.
Calm technician.

I'm Tony — a brand and digital designer based in Prague. I help technology-led teams ship work that feels considered from the first sketch to the last asset.

For six years I've been the senior hand at Pill Creative in Los Angeles, leading brand and product work for clients across the US.

In parallel, I run direct engagements with founders and teams in the Czech Republic — TechTest on deep-tech testing infrastructure, Twist on a portfolio of international franchise concepts, and Nula on digital design work.

Eight years of shipping

I trained at VŠKK in Prague, where I earned my MgA. and later came back to mentor students and lead workshops. I gave feedback on projects for real clients, which meant the stakes were actual and the lessons stuck. It sharpened the way I think about my own work: if you can't defend a decision out loud, it probably isn't one.

The work itself spans four connected layers: brand identity systems (logo through guidelines through full rollout), digital product design (web and app, wireframes, prototypes), supporting brand assets (decks, infographics, iconography, social, print), and increasingly a strategic role — being brought in to evolve existing identities, lead direction across a portfolio of brands, or shape investor materials.

My deepest vertical is technology — I'm the designer engineers can actually talk to. Technically founded, comfortable in terminals, at home in complex product domains. But the portfolio runs wider than that: construction, security, healthcare, services, legal, crypto. The range is the point. Every new industry sharpens the thinking for the next one.

How I work

Four phases.
One hand

Most engagements follow the same shape. The phases overlap and the order bends, but the rhythm holds.

01

Listen

A first conversation, then a written brief that's mine, not yours. The goal is naming the real problem before designing for the wrong one.

02

Frame

Strategy and positioning before visuals. I write the words first, sketch the structure second, and only then start moving pixels.

03

Make

Iterate fast, share rough work early, narrow toward the final direction in a small number of focused reviews. No surprises at the end.

04

Hand off

Files, guidelines, and the meeting that makes sure the work lives well after I'm gone. For retainers, this loop never closes.
